The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, is a pandemic. The virus is very contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. Wisconsin Inspire is monitoring and adhering to federal, state, local, and USFS guidelines to reduce the spread of the virus. Wisconsin Inspire, however, cannot guarantee that a skater or a skater’s family member will not be exposed to or become infected with the virus. Wisconsin Inspire recognizes that any gathering of people, including on the rink or at off ice activities, could increase the risk that a skater or skater’s family member be exposed or infected. By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the above-stated risks and voluntarily assume the risk that my child, my family, or I may be exposed to or infected by the virus by participating in Inspire activities and that the exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, or death. I understand the risk may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself or others, including coaches or other contracted persons, volunteers, or skaters. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury, including any expense or damage relating to the injury, that arises out of or relates to exposure to or infection with the virus to my children, myself, or my family in connection with participation in Inspire activities. I release and hold harmless Wisconsin Inspire, coaches and other contracted persons, volunteers, and skaters from any claims arising out of or relating to the virus. I agree that the release includes any claims regardless of whether the exposure or infection occurs before, during, or after participation in a Wisconsin Inspire activity. *
