Are you looking to get more involved with what is going on at Harloe? Harloe has a great group of volunteers that make it possible for your kids to do fun things throughout the year. We are looking for volunteers to fill the following chairperson positions for the 2022-23 school year.

FALL EVENTS

Apex Fun Run (Chair: Samantha Doornbos, Co-Chair Barbara Aquino) October

I am interested in getting food donations and/or sponsors for the event.

I am interested in helping at the Fun Run.

Red Ribbon Week (Chair: Kristen Wallin, Co-Chair: Colleen Elliot ) October

I am interested in helping with daily events and/or making posters.

Holiday Shop (Chair: Samantha Bronson, Co-Chair Needed) December

I am interested in being a co-chair.

I am interested in helping various days and time to keep store open for students. (1-2 weeks)

WINTER EVENTS

Margaret Harloe Day (Chair: Jessica Doremus) February

Help plan and organize activities for the day.

Red Across America/Scrabble Day (Chair: Tori Perkins) March

Help sell & distribute hats and organize fun activities for the day.

Math Night (Chair: Jean Drummond Petersen, Co-Chair Needed)

I am interested in being a Co-Chair.

Help plan and organize an enrichment eveving for our students.

SPRING EVENTS

Harloe Auction & Barn Bash (Sara Carney, Co-Chairs Needed)

I am interested in asking businesses for donations for the auction.

I am interested in helping on the day of the event.

I am interested in chairing or co-chairing event

Goodwill Trailer (Chair: Nicole DeMatteo) March/April

I am interested in helping sort donations to go into the goodwill trailer during this weekend.

Staff Appreciation Week (Chair: Cameron Allen, Jean Drummond Petersen) May

I am interested in helping organize activities.

I am interested in making a monetary donation toward daily lunches.

I am interested in helping set up food and clean up one day or daily.

YEAR-ROUND EVENTS

Food/Baked Goods Committee (Chair: Erika Cota) Organize volunteers to bring food/baked goods to events--4 times a year.

Donate pre-packaged food items or pre-packaged baked goods for events throughout the year.

Bulletin Boards (Chair: Linda Rumley, Co-Chair: Jill Richards)

Help decorate the bulletin boards throughout the campus at the beginning of each month.

Help make signs throughout the year for special events.

T-Shirt Sales (Chair: Brooke Bates, Co-Chair: Bridgett Hughes)

Help sell and distribute Harloe gear.

Book Fair (Chair: Jennifer Snowe)

Help with book fairs scheduled during Fall and Spring Events.

Beautification Committee (Chair: Nicolette Meggs)

Help with gardening and planning school beautification days.

Diversity Committee (Chairperson needed, Co-Chair: Needed)

I am interested in being a Chairperson.

I am interested in being a Co-Chair.

Help organize events throughout the year.

Office Volunteers

I am interested in helping with hearing/vision screenings, picture days and/or Kindergarten Round Up.

5th Grade Activities (Chair: Kristen Wallin, Co-Chair: Erika Cota )

Growing Minds Garden Club (Chair: Layla Saheb)

Volunteer to be a class photographer!

Help with sales and distribution as well.

Talent Show DVD (Chair: Anna Olsen, Co-Chair Needed) Sells presale DVD’s at the Clark Center for both performances.
