Thank you for requesting to join our community and register for classes.

Libertas Scholars is a Christ-centered, parent-led home education program serving scholars
in 6th - 12th grade and their families. We are pleased that you and your family would like to join us for the upcoming school year.

Please complete the Family and Student Application below. The family section should be completed once. The student section must be completed for each student enrolling in classes. Upon receipt of the application, a member of our leadership team will reach out to you in an effort to determine that our program is a good fit for your family.

Libertas Scholars offers classes to support a family's choice to homeschool their children. The classes are offered one or two days a week. The majority of the learning takes place on the remaining 3 or 4 days under the supervision of the parents.  Are you able to support your child in this way?

As part of a community that serves one another, we ask that all parents serve as Parent-On-Duty twice a semester. In this role the parent handles campus details for the day including leading set up and clean up, and supervising study hall. Are you able to make this commitment? If not, please indicate, so that we can discuss other ways that you can serve our community.

We encourage the use of masks when indoors. We also give each tutor the option of requiring the use of masks in their classroom. In the case of high positivity rates in the Orlando community, we may request that all students, tutors, and families mask when on campus. We ask that you kindly oblige in order to protect the most vulnerable of our community. Does your family agree to this?

Some info about our classes: Math and Science classes are offered 2 days a week; the rest of our core classes and electives are offered one day per week. We will be live and in-person every Tuesday at Delaney Street Baptist Church in downtown Orlando. All Wednesday and Friday classes will be offered via Zoom.  As always, tutors will use the learning platform, PowerSchool Learning, to communicate weekly assignments, grades, and Zoom information. Please Acknowledge an understanding of this.

Tuition is payable directly to the tutor; $100 at the time of registration and the remainder due by July 1. As a courtesy, the tuition balance can be split into two equal payments due July 1st and December 1st. Science and Math classes are  $600 and are taught 2 days per week: Tuesdays in-person and Fridays virtually on zoom. History/ English/ World Language are $450 per class and are offered one day per week. Please check the schedule for the exact day and time. Electives and FLVS tutoring are $350 and are offered one day per week. Study Hall is free for each student enrolled in at least one class. Please Acknowledge an understanding of the model/ agreement.

Will your student be on campus for Devotional (11:50- 12:05) and lunch  (12:05-12:40)? If your student is on campus they must be in the lunchroom or associated recess areas.

 Math and science classes conduct their second class each week on ZOOM on Friday mornings in either 1st or 2nd period.  There are also a few other options for Fridays. Please select the 3rd period Friday virtual Zoom class (10:30-11:50) that your child would like to take.

We are currently working on an additional class for SAT/ACT Prep. Please let us know if you are interested in this class and we will contact you when it has been finalized.

Following your registration, you will receive an email outlining your student's course selections and the associated registration cost for each class.  You will also be asked to send a check to each tutor for $100 of tuition.
