Ground Reality is the annual B-plan competition organised by E-CELL, BITS Pilani Hyderabad. GROUND REALITY provides a platform for budding entrepreneurs to get excellent professional mentor-ship and to showcase their ideas in front of investors, incubators, accelerators and venture firms etc.

Note: - Students having ideas, models, B-plans are highly encouraged to participate.

1. Start-ups that have been incorporated more than four years ago are not eligible to participate in GROUND REALITY. You will be required to submit proof of the same during the competition process.
2. Individual participation is allowed in the competition, although participation in teams is highly encouraged. A team can
     have up to 8 members.
3. There is no restriction on incubated startups to participate in the competition.
4. Ventures cannot be a buyout, an expansion of an existing company, a real estate syndication, a tax shelter, a franchise, a
     licensing agreement for distribution in a different geographical area, or a spin-out from an existing corporation
5. Teams may be asked to provide proof of the above at any time during the competition cycle and in the eventuality of
     wrong details/information your entry shall be disqualified.

1. Participants are required to register and submit their business models online.
2 There is no restriction on any individual to participate. Anyone, from students to working professionals across the world,
    can participate.
3. Participation can be done on an individual basis or in a team of up to 8 members.
4. There is no restriction on teams taking part in other business plans/ model competitions
5. Team Name' cannot be changed over the course of the competition. It should be used for any future correspondence or
     queries.
6. A team can submit more than one business model/ idea after registration but in doing so, it must register separately for
    each submission. The same email-id and/or team name cannot be used for doing so.
7. A team cannot participate in both GROUND REALITY and BEYOND PROFITS.
8. The final authority regarding any decision rests in the hands of organizers.
9. The decision of the jury shall be binding and final on the participants

1. Teams must register themselves online along with their questionnaire.
2. A participant is expected to answer all the questions in detail.
3. It is not necessary for the teams to have an established start-up. We encourage people having ideas to participate.
4. Teams who are in early stages of planning are also encouraged to participate.
5. Judging based upon their ideas and answers provided some of the teams will be shortlisted.

1. Teams that qualify for the first round have to submit their  business model (need not to be final) along with some documents.(The details of which will be provided later).
2. Participants will be allotted specific mentors according to their requirement and mentoring will take place via email, video conferencing and telephone calls.

Based on the score given by mentors and provided B-plan, some of the teams will be shortlisted and will be invited to take part in the final round.

1.Registration of Round 1 closes on 10th November 2019.
2.Those qualifying Round 1 will be mailed round 2 questionnaire, deadline for submission of that will be 30th November.
3.From 5th to 12th of January 2020 teams(clearing round 2) would have to submit their Business Model (need not be final)
   along with other details (like revenue,costs,etc). Mentors will be provided who will guide the participants to prepare
   Business Model Canvas and presentation.
4.Finals on 16th of Feb. in BITS PILANI Hyderabad Campus.

Total prizes worth more than 5 lakhs including co-working space, legal help, incubation opportunities,web development and accelerator program among other benefits will be awarded to the winner.
