FALL DEPARTURE FROM CAMPUS BEGINS: 5:30 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020
Families can make plans to pick-up their child between 5:30-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 20.
Darrow will assist in departing transportation 6:00-11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 21.
All Students must be off campus by 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 21.

(2021-Second semester return travel will require it's own form submission)

Students who need assistance with arrangements should speak with the Dean of Students Office several weeks before the beginning of the recess.
The dormitories will be closed during this vacation period. Families are responsible for arrangements for students during these periods. The earliest departure shown above is the earliest time that a student can leave the school campus; when booking flights, allow sufficient time to get to the airport and go through the security lines. We encourage families to make travel plans well in advance so that students do not have to leave school early because of flight schedules.

A parent or guardian must submit this form by Friday, November 6, to avoid a late fee.

Departing Darrow *

Thanksgiving RECESS BEGINS: Friday, November 20, 2020. Darrow will provide transportation 6:00-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21. Please choose one option. If you request airport or station drop off, a driver or taxi fee will be charged. (A note to families who used our Wassaic/Metro North bus- This is not an option as Metro North is not running the line at this time this far north. Most families are utilizing Amtrak instead.)

Albany-Rensselaer (NY) Amtrak Train Station (45 minutes from campus)

Pittsfield (MA) Peter Pan Buslines and Amtrak Train Station (20 minutes from campus)

Albany International Airport (60 minutes from campus)

JFK International Airport, NYC (JFK is roughly a 3 hour drive to Darrrow School. When possible, please book flights through Albany International. If transportation assistance is requested through Darrow for JFK, a private car service is subcontracted at costs starting at $500.)
