Stop Asian Hate Vigil Installation - Volunteers!
In light of the recent attacks in Atlanta and the growing wave of attacks on the AAPI community, we want to invite the MIT community to join our candlelight vigil installation this Saturday, April 3rd.  We are setting up 3,795 candles in MIT's Kresge to represent the 3,795+ reported hate crimes against AAPI's in the last year alone. People are welcome to come reflect and visit the candlelight installation from 7 - 9 PM. Sign up here to help set up the candles, help during the vigil itself, or with the takedown of the candles at 9 PM -- thank you for your support!

Volunteers do need to be MIT students or affiliates and be COVIDpass eligible and will need to follow COVID safety protocols. Volunteers will be separated into groups of 10 to maintain COVID distance and capacity limits.

Please share our FB event with MIT friends to attend the vigil: https://fb.me/e/11tmMMS6a
