Once you are approved as an MM Mentor, you will receive contact information for your single mentee. You and your mentee will coordinate a time to meet and discuss expectations, answer initial questions about college and health careers, and start searching for scholarship opportunities. Each subsequent week, for 6 weeks, you will meet with your mentee for one hour to discuss their progress on the scholarship search, review their application drafts with them and provide suggestions, and determine how many applications they have submitted. Prior to the meeting, you will have your mentee email you any completed scholarship applications they plan to discuss during the meeting so you can review them and have prepared feedback.
