Week 2 -- Making Space
How we view our environment comes from a lot of factors--observation, education, cultural norms... And experiences differ from person to person let alone community to community or country to country!

Take a little time this week to consider your space and others'. And be SURE to check out Global Citizens Week -- Equity in Action https://international.viu.ca/global-engagement/global-citizens-week

We’re looking for the coziest, ugliest, and funkiest sweaters of VIU! Send us a picture of your best stay warm sweater look! (sustainability@viu.ca ) or post on social media and tag with #VIUSweaties21 . Weekly random prize draws from entries received each week. The ugliest, the funkiest, and the coziest sweaters of VIU will be chosen at the end of this initiative.

You can see the heat!
Borrow an infrared camera from the VIU library and see where you might be losing heat that you don’t need to. Take a picture of that heat loss, and tell us how you plan to do better now that you know better! Send the picture and your remediation plan to sustainability@viu.ca
