The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) awards scholarships to promising students who do not have the financial means to attend an art class or camp. Please see the eligibility requirement guidelines below and request the type of scholarship you prefer from the list of art classes offered through LACMA ’s Education Department.
Process
Scholarship applications are due on the 1st of the month. Applications will be reviewed by a panel, and applicants will be notified via email about their status by the 15th of the month.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Students must be at least 6 years old.
- A statement regarding financial need and your interest in taking a LACMA art class is required.
- Priority will be given to new applicants, but scholarship recipients are welcome to reapply every 6 months.
