For those who are interested and have a Portland address, our next class will be held in August.
This training program prepares participants for middle-wage driver jobs with local Hauler Association member companies.
The industry-designed training includes:
12-weeks of integrated hands-on and classroom training
Preparation for Oregon’s Commercial Driver License (CDL) Test
The Driving Diversity Truck Driver Training is a program of the Portland Haulers Association developed with Interstate Trucking Academy and WorkSource Portland Metro.
Seats are limited and entry to the training is competitive. Not all who apply will be offered a seat. Priority for acceptance to the training will be given to women, black, indigenous, and people of color.
