We welcome public groups interested in visiting our private owned astronomical mini-observatory site in Keriam Tutong, to promote learning about astronomical/scientific outreach/research/engineering activities in Brunei Darussalam.
Our team will do every effort to accommodate and implement your visit, but visits may be cancelled for operational problem, practical reasons, bad weather, natural disaster, accidents, or any other case of force majeure.
Use this star chart for schedules of the solar system objects (rise & set time
) and constellations visible in the sky from Brunei. Use that information to make your observation plans on the chosen date during your visit to the observatory.
The observatory availability and booking are on a first-come, first-served basis, and priority is for PABD members' use. To request, simply complete this form with your details, proposed date & time and proposal summary.

Term & Conditions:- The visits are free, do not include transportation, and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
- Visits may be cancelled for operational problems, practical reasons, bad weather, natural disaster, accidents, or any other case of force majeure.
- Use the facility/observatory at your own risk.
- The maximum number of confirmed visitors is 2-3 people per session.
- Please come at the allocated time slot.
- Each session is limited to 1 hour only, you may request for time extension subject to availability.
- The use of telescopes and other equipment must be supervised at all times.
- Minors under 6 years old are not permitted.
- Pets are not allowed.
- No food, or beverages are available for sale at the observatory. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages (to be consumed outside the observatory).
- Free use of information (data/photograph/video) taken from the observatory must be acknowledged: Photo taken at Mini Astronomical Observatory Keriam Tutong, Brunei Darussalam & Credit to The Astronomical Society of Brunei Darussalam (PABD).
