Hebron Volunteer Fire Department is officially accepting applications for volunteer firefighters. Qualifications are as follows: MUST MEET THE STATE REQUIRED AGE REQUIREMENTS, MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND DISTRICT 1 FIREFIGHTER I/II CLASS, IF NOT CERTIFIED, MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, MUST LIVE IN HFD’S COVERAGE AREA. (EXCEPTIONS LIMITED).

All applicants will be required to fill out our application and submit the application. Applicants will also be required to have background check completed on, and are subject to a drug test. Applicants will also have a interview that will be scheduled after completion of submission of an application. Applicant will be notified via email and/or phone call of status. Applicant will also be notified for a date and time for an open house in which applicant will be required to attend. Applicant will also have to pass a modified physical agility test, and cognitive written test administered by the HVFD. Dates and times for all test and interviews will be scheduled via email. Dates and times will also be posted as application process advances.
Members of HVFD are compensated monetarily for their dedication and service.
