2024 NEACOP Survey Membership Interest
The New England Association of Chiefs of Police is a regional organization organized in 1926 by, of, and for the chief executives and command staffs of New England Police Departments. The Association provides a mechanism for inter and intrastate liaison, the building of collegial relationships along with substantive benefits. These include a tuition discount for professional and leadership education at the Justice Systems Training and Research Institute at Roger Williams University; an immediate benefit paid to the survivor of a line-of-duty death; an affiliation with Daigle Law Group providing analysis of federal Circuit Court and Supreme Court decisions with recommendations for policy compliance; an annual conference bringing in nationally known presenters on contemporary issues. Representatives from police departments in every New England State form the board of officers encouraging input from all member departments in forming training and policy initiatives for the Association.
