The Pocopson Elementary School PTO hopes to offer a 20 week Language Enrichment Program in Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, and possibly American Sign Language to students in the 1st - 5th grades. The cost for the full 20 class session is $200, and is offered either before school, starting at 8:10am, or after school, starting at 3:45pm. All classes meet one day per week, for a total of 20 weeks, throughout the school year (classes usually ends around end of March, beginning of April depending on snow days).

The objective of this program is to provide an enjoyable and stimulating environment targeting the elementary age child. Teaching styles are adapted to meet the class dynamics and may include games, songs, and skits which make learning a foreign language fun! Advanced classes may also include reading and writing, in addition to speaking skills.

Please note that we need a minimum of 6 students to run a class. Classes are capped at 12 students.

Classes are tentatively scheduled to start the week of October 4th, 2021.
