The University of Victoria's Let's Talk Science will be putting on a virtual symposium that discusses equity, diversity, and inclusion issues in science. In this second edition, they will reflect on the traditional image of scientists and the importance of leveraging support from role models and mentors to increase diversity in STEM. Stelly's is putting together a group to participate, and we would love to have you there! This will take place in room 41 on October 11 from 8:45am - 11:00am. As you will be missing the majority of block 1 and 2, please make arrangements with your teacher regarding missed work.
