AMTE 2020 Rapid Response Videos for MTEs
With many universities asking us to shift modalities to online instruction due to the coronavirus pandemic, AMTE is collecting a series of resources to support mathematics teacher educators (MTEs) in bringing their courses into online spaces rapidly and with minimal sacrifice of instructional quality. As a part of this effort, we are interested in brief (5-20 minute) videos that demonstrate an aspect of online teaching for math content courses, math methods courses, field-based experiences, or other mathematics teacher education courses.  This could be a set of narrated slides, a screencast demonstrating a technology, or a short talking-head video describing the approach.

Two members of our Technology and Professional Development Committees, in collaboration with our Online Mathematics Education Task Force, will do a very quick review of the materials you send and we will make them available on the AMTE website (outside the pay wall) within 24 hours of submission. Simply fill out the form below with a title, brief description, and a link to the video. We will publish the video on our AMTE Vimeo account to embed on our website and of course, give you credit for the work. If your video is already published on a site like Youtube or Vimeo, submit a direct link to it and we can review and embed.
