In line with the 8th principle's call to both journey and be accountable for our work to dismantle racism and oppression, we invite individuals, ministries, and groups within UUCW to share your recent celebrations (work you've recently done) and commitments (work you plan to engage in over the next 3-4 months) related to anti-racism and dismantling oppression.
Work can be done at the ideological, institutional, interpersonal, or individual level. You may be engaged in work ranging from reflection, learning/unlearning, advocacy, direct-service, or financial contributions.
For questions or support, contact 8thprinciple@uucworcester.org or check out UUCW 8th Principle Toolkit (available electronically or on the bulletin board outside of the sanctuary).
The 8th Principle: Journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.
