Introduction

Welcome to the  Heritage Language School! We offer well-structured online courses designed to help you learn and master the Kikuyu language, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to advance your fluency. Our courses provide a strong foundation in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a special focus on cultural understanding.

Beginner  & Intermediate Kikuyu
 Language Course

This course is designed for individuals with little to no prior knowledge of Kikuyu. It introduces the alphabet, basic vocabulary, greetings, sentence structures, and common phrases while gradually building confidence in communication. By the end of the course, students will be able to engage in basic conversations, read and write simple texts, and understand cultural nuances. Continuous assessments will be conducted to monitor progress.
  • Duration: 4 Months (16 Weeks)
  • Modules: 4 Modules
  • Schedule: 5 lessons per week
  • Flexible Online Class schedules in a day( Attend one class duration in a day)
  • Monday-Thursday: 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM & 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Sunday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM & 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM( Lesson +Omnibus)
  • Delivery Mode: Online (Google Meet)

  • Cost:  Ksh 5,000 per month

Advanced Kikuyu Language Course

This course is for learners who have completed the beginner level and want to enhance their fluency and comprehension. It focuses on advanced grammar, complex sentence structures, cultural nuances, and professional application of the language. Continuous assessments will be conducted to monitor progress.

Upon successful completion of the full course, students will receive a certificate of proficiency in advanced Kikuyu, acknowledging their ability to use the language fluently and effectively in a variety of contexts, both personal and professional. This course will prepare students for further study, professional use of Kikuyu, or active participation in cultural and linguistic preservation efforts.
