Community Potluck, Tot Shabbat, May 17, 2024

Friday, March 15, in person, doors open 5:45pm, candle-lighting 6pm

Join your Berith Sholom family for a multigenerational potluck Shabbat dinner honoring our students and teachers. Rabbi Gordon will lead everyone in lighting candles and welcoming Shabbat, followed by a simple dairy/veggie potluck. Bring a dish to share. Please note below if you can help with setup or cleanup.

At 6:45 young children are invited upstairs to the sanctuary for a Jewish story or activity led by Rabbi Gordon.

Berith Sholom kashrut guidelines require that a dairy/veggie meal (milchig or pareve, in Yiddish) contain no meat. We don't serve shellfish or eels either, which are not kosher. And no peanuts or peanut products, please, to fulfill the mitzvah of pikuach nefesh, saving a life.
