Introduction:  In today's Gospel lesson we are going to learn about being a servant of God. A servant is a helper. We help one another as Jesus' followers. When we help one another we use our talents. Our talents are things like making people smile, helping, sharing and being generous or kind to others. The message that you will hear about in the Gospel today is clear: as Jesus' disciples we are to use our talents to do good. So now it is time to listen to the Gospel video below "Parable of The Talents" and then answer the questions below when you are done.

Great job! Jesus told us this parable because he wanted us to understand that God gives everyone talents and he wants us to use our talents to be his helpers in this world. God wants us to use our talents to help others and to do good and not to deny them or save them just for ourselves.
