I understand Highlands Career Institute is a one-year commitment for the student and parent.  After the first week of school, no student or parent schedule change requests will be permitted.  However, if a student is not successful at Highlands Career Institute, an administrative schedule change can be made to return that student to his/her high school at any time throughout the school year. *
If you are accepted to Highlands Career Institute you are required to complete the South Florida State College application and orientation process to be guaranteed a seat in your Career and Technical Education Program.  Please mark yes to indicate you understand this additional requirement if accepted.   *
