We will be working together to create a container for our shared virtual space that is rooted in consent, confidentiality, collaboration, and kindness. Is this something you feel willing and able to participate in? Do you have any previous experience of consent-based sex-positive events? *
We are likely to be a diverse group, and as such we'll be seeking to cultivate a culture of respect for and celebration of each other's identities and experiences. Have you previously spent time in groups or at events with people of different genders, orientations, bodies, and backgrounds to you - and do you feel able to be open, respectful, and affirming of others in those environments? *
During this journey we will be working with the dual themes of staying with the trouble - that which is troubling us personally and collectively - and resourcing from the erotic - the joyous, sensual, creative power that resides in all of us. You will be explicitly invited to get present with feelings and with aspects of yourself that you may find uncomfortable or challenging. You will also be invited to connect with your embodied, creative, and erotic self through the principles and practices of sex magic. Do you feel willing to meet yourself with kindness and curiosity, and do you feel able to hold yourself and take care of yourself on this journey? Do you feel open to listening deeply to others in our virtual circle, and attending with them to the troubles of our time? Do you have a support system you can lean into in the event that something challenging arises for you from our time together? *
Health and the unexpected allowing, can you currently commit to the five Friday evenings in April/May (29th, 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th), from 6:30-9:30pm UK time? This is an experiential course, rather than a webinar/seminar, and sessions will not be recorded. *
