Thank you for being part of McConnell Con! Your involvement not only adds to the magic of the event but also supports its continuation and that of other morale and welfare programs. Our event is a small one (est. 1,500 attendees) designed to bring our audience a taste of what they may find at other local fandom events. Here are some key points to keep in mind:

• We're only seeking vendors whose products align with the fandom-centric vibe of McConnell Con. Whether it's comic books, movies, Ren Faire, anime, gaming goodies, LARP gear, cosplay accessories, pre-packaged themed snacks, sci-fi novels, or any other delightful nerdy creation, we're excited to see what you bring! Please ensure your products resonate with the overall theme and please ask questions if you're not sure!

• While we're not adopting a strict jurying process, we certainly encourage variety. We want this to be a rich and diverse experience for attendees. However, keep in mind that similar products from different vendors are more than welcome and no vendors will be excluded solely because they have similar products. Embrace your unique spin on what you bring to the vendor table!

• By participating, you're gaining a direct connection to the military audience at McConnell. Your booth's success is in your hands, from content to promotion. Feel free to create an experience that speaks to your brand and resonates with our attendees. We're here to support you!

• We will provide vendor space, tables and chairs as outlined in this form. If you need tablecloths or other booth accessories, please plan on providing those items. Be prepared to take cash or card, but we don't provide dedicated Wi-Fi in our facility. If you have other concerns, let us know ASAP at marketingmcconnell@gmail.com. 

Below are the Artist and Vendor rules for McConnell Con 2024:

We appreciate your commitment to making McConnell Con extraordinary. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to reach out!. The deadline for vendor/artist applications is May 24th. Send yours in as early as possible to ensure that you can be apart of the fun!

1. You may set up anytime between 8am and 10am on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Tear down will be allowed after the convention closes at 6:00 PM. Each vendor/artist will be responsible for the cleanup of their own assigned space. All tear downs must be complete by 8pm.

2. Vendor/artist spaces must be manned and open for business at all times during event hours. There are no rain dates and no refund will be granted in the event of inclement weather.

3. Please provide a full list of your wares. 

4.All vendors are required to obey the rules of the State of Kansas as well as the United States Air Force. 

5. McConnell Con will only allow officially licensed items to be sold.  Bootlegged/knockoff/counterfeit/unlicensed items are forbidden. Violators will not be tolerated. Any vendor found in violation of this rule will be removed from McConnellCon, forfeit vendor space/s and all fees. No refund will be issued.

6. In accordance with permission granted for DoD base access, No weapons will be allowed on base. In addition, realistic, fake weaponry will not be allowed.

7. In accordance with permission granted for DoD base access, no drug paraphernalia shall be sold or kept by vendors on site. Controlled substances are strictly forbidden per State, County, and US Air Force Laws. Please help us adhere to the law. Vendors/Artists in violation of this rule will be shut down and removed from the base grounds. No refunds will be given.

8. All federal, state, and local laws governing retail sales tax must be followed. You must understand the rules and regulations and comply. All vendors/artists are responsible for their own taxes, licenses, and permits. Sales are strictly between the vendor and customer only.

9. McConnell Con assumes no liability for lost or damaged merchandise. Safeguard your stuff accordingly.

10. Vendors and artist/creators will be pre-assigned spaces. We will do our best to make sure everyone has a good spot. 

Please cooperate with our staff. All decisions of the coordinator will be final.
