The New Jersey Association of Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals (NJAHVRP) is an organization that exists to serve its members by:

* Strengthening the profession of healthcare volunteer services administration.

* Providing opportunities for educational and professional development

* Promoting awareness of the role of the administrators of volunteer services in healthcare organizations

* Promoting volunteerism as a resource in serving the healthcare needs of the state

* Identifying, communicating and advocating for current issues (i.e., legislative, healthcare, volunteerism, standards in order to build healthy communities)
