2022 Fall Connection Group Sign Up
This fall you are invited to be part of a CONNECTION GROUP – a great way to renew your connection with others at Reformation. All groups will begin meeting the week of October 3 and will meet for 7 sessions unless otherwise noted.

All groups are limited to 20 registrations. Registration will close on September 26. Group leaders will contact group members with specific information after registration closes.

The Connection Groups being offered are listed below.

CG 1 - Bible Study: 7 Signs of John's Gospel
Sundays at 9:45 am at Reformation led by Nancy Clark
John’s Gospel records seven signs performed by Jesus – from changing water into wine to miraculous healings and feedings. Each week this Bible study group will explore one of the signs and how it connects to our faith.

CG 2 – Holy Hikers
Sundays at 3:30 at various locations led by Jen Troutman
Reconnect with mother nature, meet new friends and get some exercise along the way. Join us Sunday afternoons as we explore different parks and preserves in Delaware and Chester Counties. All hikes will be beginner/easy level but trails may not be paved. Kids and leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun! You will be home in time for dinner! (This group starts on October 2 and is weather-dependent each week.)

CG 3 - Screwball Comedies of the 40's and 50's
Sundays at 7 pm at Reformation led by Ron Brzowski
This group will view and discuss the films of Jimmy Stewart, Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, Spencer Tracy and more!

CG 4 - Green Gardening
Mondays at 7:00 pm on Zoom led by Carol Stephens
This group will discuss the environmental benefits of planting native plants, shrubs and trees for clean air, water, and provide support for pollinators. In the best-selling book, Bringing Nature Home, Douglas Tallamy writes that “Ninety-six percent of terrestrial birds rear their young on insects.” Getting rid of the bugs in your garden means no birds. This group will explore best gardening practices to help improve the planet. (Suggested reading: Nature’s Best Hope: A New Approach to Conservation That Starts in Your Yard by Douglas Tallamy.)

CG 5 - Let’s Talk
Tuesdays at 10:00 am at Reformation led by Pat Hacik
What people, places, events and/or experiences have inspired or influenced you? Each week we will have one or more stories, poems, paintings, articles or book excerpts to inspire our conversations. Participants will have the chance to share their ideas about the items presented, to talk and make connections, and to tell personal stories brought to mind by our discussions. Volunteers may also wish to share some of their own favorite stories, book excerpts, poems, paintings or articles. Come, join in the fun of learning something new and sharing ideas!

CG 6 – Women in Art
Thursdays at 7 pm on Zoom led by Dave and Sally Helms, Loren Hart and Debra Besch
Throughout the centuries, women have been involved in making art, as creators and innovators of new forms of artistic expression, as patrons and collectors, as sources of inspiration and as art historians, curators and critics. Join us as we learn about some of these women and the roles they have played in the world of art.

Use the online registration form below to register each person individually. Contact Pastor Alina (pastoralina@relcmedia.org) with any registration questions.
