Orientation for Geokrishi Leadership Program
After graduation, how can you create an impact?
Do you think you have the right skill set to catalyze the transfer of technology?
Do you think you can convince beneficiaries of the service you are offering?
Do you think you can express your ideas and convince others to buy in your pitch?

What if you have a world-changing idea, do you think you can execute it?

You spend years learning formulas but rarely give space to learn how to convince people to adopt it and make use of it. Universities teach your academics but do you know how to build influence and a strong personality.

One study done by the Carnegie Institute of Technology found that 85% of your carrier success comes from your personality your ability to connect, lead and negotiate only 15% come from your technical education. Even though the research is very clear that the most successful carriers have been build based on influence and personality. You go through 10 years of trying to become good at what you do and spend no time on developing influence and personality.

To tackle this gap in developing professionals and providing space for young agriculturists to experiment their innovative approaches, GeoKrishi Initiative has designed the Leadership Program. Here, leaders will learn the basics of communication, enhance their leadership, work on their information delivery skills, design their own project and promote the adoption of digital technology in their community. The leaders will not only participate in online session but also get an opportunity to implement their learnings in the field to evaluate its practicality.

We are organizing an Orientation Program to give a clearer picture of the Leadership Program and also answer to any queries of that the participants can have. You can find the details of the Orientation Meeting at the bottom of this description.

GeoKrishi Leadership Program is an intensive 1-month program, where agriculture students and aspirants are engaged in experimental learning, sharing, and experimenting activities to deepen the understanding of Agriculture Extension, nurture entrepreneurial growth, and empower local farmers by promoting new agricultural tools and technology. The program aims to boost the field exposure of participants by engaging in several on-farm interactions, ground assessment, kickstarting the innovation. The program can further extend to 3 months after regular intensive monitoring and evaluation.

If you are an agri-enthusiast, recently graduated, or currently in your near-final terms and you want to bridge the gap between farmers and technology whilst also initiate your agribusiness in near future, this program is exactly for you.
