Swedish Arborist Federation (SAF) are
proud to present the first course ever on tree architecture in Sweden!
The course will be in English and for
arborists or other professionals where a knowledge of tree architecture is essential
for constructive pruning and to be able to understand and evaluate the growth history
in tree crowns.
Course leader is Dutch tree consultant
Joey Bokschoten from Terra Nostra.
Part of the course will be theoretical
and part will be looking, drawing and identifying architectural behaviour in the arboretum.
This fascinating science developed
by French botanists in the seventies. Most literature is in French and the
knowledge is not easy to obtain and is generally not taught in arborist
educations in non-French speaking countries.
Upon the completion of the course, you will be issued a SAF completion certificate. 12 CEU are available to certified ETW or ISA arborists.
Don’t miss the opportunity to add this
important piece to your puzzle of tree knowledge.
Please note this is a non-residential
course, if you need accommodation you need to organise it on your own. Rooms
available at the venue:
