Quick Chats! 7 Undergrads, 7 Engineers, 7 Minutes
NB: Expression of Interest - you will then be asked to register from 19 August into your preferred sessions!

QUICK CHATS is a series of small group chats with Undergrad Students and Engineers across the huge range of disciplines that come under the umbrella "Engineering".   You will be able to speak via video chat and ask all manner of questions!  These sessions are suitable for students from Years 9-12 from ACT & NSW

The Concept: You will chat for 7 minutes before meeting another Engineer & Student, and then moving again for 7 rotations 
The Aim:  To shed some light on how wide ranging the options are and the great opportunities that are open to you with a degree in Engineering.

Sessions coming up:
Tuesday 30 August 2022  
What "type" of Engineer do you want to be?
- meet Students & Engineers from Civil; Mechanical; Electrical; Aerospace/nautical; Chemical; Biomedical; Software - what is it like to study eg Mechanical, and what is it like to be a Mechanical Engineer?

Tuesday 13 September
Which University??
- meet students and Alumni from UNSW, USYD, UTS, WSU, UOW, UON, and ADFA - what is unique about each Uni, what is it like on campus, how has being an Alumni helped you?

(both above sessions will be repeated depending on demand)

Tuesday 27 September - Tuesday 22 November
Special events will have focused sessions eg:
  - Future Tech - Quantum, Digital, Data etc;
- Discipline "Deep Dives" eg:
Civil & Structural Engineering = infrastructure, bridges, roads, rail, tunnels/geotech, water, coasts & ports, environment, buildings, design & construction, marine and the list goes on!  These are just some of the specialties in C&S!
Electrical Engineering = Electronics, Quantum, Renewable Energy/Photovoltaics, Optics/Photonics, Telecommunications, Systems, Nanotechnology/Electromagnetics
