About the event
Preservation of women’s health is a crucial necessity, as their health has a deep impact on the wellbeing of the family, and the society. Breast cancer is the commonest cancer in Indian women, and is imminently curable cancer, provided patients are diagnosed at an early-stage, and receive timely and comprehensive treatment. Hence, creating awareness about these common cancers and ensuring their detection at an early-stage are need of the hour for our society.
On Sunday 31st Oct 2021, SGPGI community will come together to carry out activities to attract attention of people towards the need for breast cancer awareness and breast cancer screening. To this goal, we invite you to participate in “Walk or Ride to Raise Awareness on Breast Cancer” on morning of Sunday 31st Oct, riding through prominent locations of Lucknow city /walkathon inside SGPGI campus.
