Course Description
This 12-week course starting on September 22, 2021 at 19.00 at Fanfare Sint Servatius (Sint Theresiaplein 18) teaches you the basics of the Lindy Hop!

Lindy Hop is a partnered dance that originated from the African-American community in Harlem, New York in the 1920’s/30s. It is a lively energetic dance that is closely connected to jazz music popular at this time.

This course is designed for total beginners, although repeat students who want to polish their basics or learn the opposite role are more than welcome! We will start with the basic steps and teach you everything you need to know.
 
After the class we will have 2 hour of practice session.
Upon entrance, we require you to either show us a valid QR code (vaccination or test certificate) OR do a self-test on location for every session. We do this to make the dancing experience safe for our teachers and students. Further, we offer the option of rotating partners in class. If you don't feel comfortable with switching partners, please come with a dance partner and indicate that you don't want to rotate later in the form.
