You are invited to the trainings sessions on increasing digitalisation awareness for Dutch municipalities , organized as part of a European project under the Digital Europe program. These sessions serve as a launching point for the sustainable digital development journey of local municipalities and communities across the Netherlands.
The VNG, with support of the European Commission, organises training sessions to facilitate connections between Dutch municipalities and EU organizations focused on sustainable local digitalisation. Participants will gain access to tools, funding opportunities, crucial insights into EU policies, and the chance to share best practices and collaborate with other municipalities, associations, and initiatives
The programme consists of a series of three organised trainings, divided into phases of the digitalisation journey of your city:
Training 1: Exploration Phase - How to begin your digitalisation journey
Date: 14 March, 15:30 - 17:00 CET
- Discover the Digital Europe program's opportunities and gain insights into financing, networking, and assessing your city's digital maturity.
Training 2: Technology phase
Date: 18 April, 15:30 - 17:00 CET
- Develop essential skills and delve deeper into IT infrastructure assessment and roadmap development to lead your city's digital transformation. Learn more about Data spaces and Open Data platforms.
Training 3: In the Utilization Phase - Tools
Date: 16 May, 15:30 - 17:00 CET
- Get inspired by EU Green Deal training for sustainability through digital innovation, and receive support for procuring Local Digital Twins to ensure compliance and interoperability with European legislation.
