Summer Enrichment Program
The District is planning to offer an in-person summer enrichment program for students currently in grades 2-11 (next year's 3rd-12th graders).  The program for students in grades 2-7 (next year's 3rd-8th graders) will be arts and humanities focused and will combine content areas to explore literature, social studies, visual arts, and natural sciences.  The program for students in grades 8-11 (next year's high school students) will be based on the works of William Shakespeare.

We have scheduled two weeks for grades 2-4 (next year's 3rd-5th) and two weeks for grades 5-7 (next year's 6-8).  Each week of the program will be a self-contained experience and will run from Monday through Thursday from 1pm-4pm.  This program will occur after the academic summer program (Invitations).

Until we have an idea of enrollments, we are asking that parents sign up for one week of the program only.  If space allows, we will reach out again for a second round of signups.

Here is the schedule:
July 6 - July 9: Week one for students who are currently in grades 2, 3, and 4.
July 12 - July 15: Week one for students who are currently in grades 5, 6, and 7.

August 9 - August 12: Week two for students who are currently in grades 2, 3, and 4.
August 16 - August 19: Week two for students who are currently in grades 5, 6, and 7.

The Shakespeare program for next year's high school students will run on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-9pm on July 6, July 13, August 10, August 17, and August 24.

Transportation for the 2nd-7th grade program is available upon request.  Because the high school program meets in the evenings, there is no transportation for that portion of Explorers.

Please fill this survey out once for each child who will participate.
