Do you love chess? Are you great at working with kids? Do you have the flexibility to coach during after-school hours at least one day a week in Montgomery, AL? If so, you might make an awesome chess coach!!

Position Details:

Pay: $50/class (Typically these last 1.5 hours including set-up, dismissal, and clean up).
You'll be expected to competently know the rules of chess. If you don't know them, we offer training to get you where you need to be.
Expected to commit weekly for at least one semester, preferably a least one school year.
Expected to keep under control 15-18 kids independently of other adult help.
Expected to prepare lessons from our curriculum as directed by Head Coach Jonathan Rasberry.
Expected to attend all regular coaches' meetings as are scheduled (1-2/semester).
Must be able to pass a background check.
