The Kurt Caselli Scholarship - open to:

New applicants
Prior scholarship recipients who are pursuing their next degree (such as MA/MS, PhD, etc.) are eligible to apply again for the Kurt Caselli Scholarship.
Individuals who have previously applied but were not awarded the scholarship are welcome to re-apply.

Scholarship Requirements:
• At least 2 years of racing experience
• 18 years of age OR high school graduate
• Legal US resident
• Currently enrolled at an institution of higher learning or trade school, or will be enrolling in the upcoming term (at any accredited school). Refer back to links on Welcome Page: https://kurtcaselli.com/scholarship to confirm accreditation.
• Fully completed application (INCLUDING rider resume AND introduction video)

About Kurt Caselli

Kurt Caselli was an American motorcycle racer born on June 30, 1983, in Palmdale, California. He began racing motorcycles at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the top off-road racers in the world. Caselli was known for his speed, skill, and tenacity on the track, but he also exemplified other important character traits off the motorcycle. He was known for his perseverance in the face of challenges, his unwavering integrity, his generosity towards others, his deep commitment to his sport, his humility in victory and defeat, and his professionalism in all aspects of his life. Despite his untimely passing on November 15, 2013, while competing in the Baja 1000, Kurt Caselli continues to inspire and motivate others to pursue their passions with the same level of dedication and character that he embodied.
