Yard of the Month recognizes Copperas Cove Businesses and Residences who contribute to the overall aesthetics and health of our city by maintaining exceptionally clean and beautiful properties. Nominations for the program are open to the public from April through July. Awards will be presented from May - August. Winners are chosen based on the following criteria:

• The property has no visible code violations.
• All nominated properties must reside within the city limits.
• Key criteria include manicured yard, beautification, originality and creativity.
• The property has not received the award during the current calendar year.
• Nominations must be received by the 20th of each month from April through July.
• Third party and self-nominations are welcome.
