Entrepreneur Training & Assistance Program

Through this FREE 4-week online course entrepreneurs and emerging small business owners will learn the nuts and bolts to starting and sustaining a business. Participants will gain a better understanding of the resources available to them within the region to help them launch their business. In addition, all individuals enrolled in the course will have access to free business assistance from UMN Crookston student interns and faculty members.  

Course Outcomes

  • Learn basic business concepts and effective business communication while discovering entrepreneurship opportunities.

  • Learn basic accounting and finance principles as they apply to business while developing and refining a business plan

  • Learn how to market your company more effectively and develop an understanding of local demand for your product or service

  • Learn about the various business resources available to entrepreneurs and small businesses.
