Pollinator Pathways

Cathy Sevcik and Mary Bennett are David Suzuki Foundation Butterfly Rangers. We, with others, are planting butterfly-friendly plants (mainly native) on the grounds at 49th & Oak and would like to connect with others in South Vancouver to create pollinator pathways. Vancouver Unitarian Centre is offering several workshops over the coming months to connect people and learn more about pollinators and native plants.

June 18 9-12 noon Join the Labyrinth gardening crew to prepare for Sunday (regular volunteers garden every 3rd Saturday. Karen Theroux can meet new gardeners and share information and tools for labyrinth prrep)

Join volunteers from Invasive Species Council of BC 12-2:30pm to remove periwinkle Sat. June 18

Sunday June 19 12-1pm - Walk the labyrinth; Plant an orange marigold or nasturtium seed as we reflect on Indigenous People's Month
