Rolesville Small Business Saturday
The Rolesville Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Rolesville are partnering to organize this community event for our businesses. Small Business Saturday is your day to rally customers, promote your business and let your great marketing ideas shine! There is NO cost for you. To participate, you only need to develop a “special.” The “special” can either be for in-store, online, or for both types of sales. Small businesses can offer everything from refreshments to discounts to entertainment and more.

Here are some examples of the types of “specials” you could offer…
- Buy a $50 gift card and receive an extra $10
- Have in-store entertainment
- Host a free basket raffle for those who spend more than $50
- Have vendors doing on-site demos, live music, and offer a discount
- Create a specialty Small Business Saturday quick-serve lunch menu, or dinner, or drink. You could tack on a $1-5 to the drink price and tell them you are donating these funds to a specific charity (e.g. Toys for Tots etc.)
- If you are collecting for a local charity, ask them to bring in a canned food item to receive an additional $5 off
- Have a special clearance section for items that are 50% off of more
- Other offers could be: 10-30% discounts, free dessert with purchase of entrée, free gift with purchase over $50, complimentary cookies and hot cider, raffles or drawings for their customers – it’s entirely up to you!

Participation is free! We also recommend you go to www.shopsmall.com and register your business. (They’ll send you a marketing kit and ideas.)  It will boost both your efforts and ours!
