INVITATION TO SUBMIT EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
The Creative Arts Alliance (CAA) invites suitable applicants to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for its full time Regional Arts Officer position. The suitable candidate will help CAA deliver the Regional Arts Service Network (RASN) contract and provide advice about the development of the arts and cultural sector within SEQ-North region. THE CREATIVE ARTS ALLIANCE (LTD)
The Creative Arts Alliance (Creative Alliance) is not for profit a company limited by guarantee established for the purpose of promoting and advancing culture and the arts including performing arts including dance, drama/theatre and music, visual, arts/crafts, design, screen media and digital arts, with a particular focus on First Nations arts. We aim to facilitate and contribute to the growth and development of arts, cultural and creative industries within the regions. We are trusted as grassroots arts advocates and service providers by our partners, the arts sector, local governments and the community. Our reputation has been built on ideas leadership, advocacy and networking across the arts and through the strong community support for professional arts practice.

SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Suitable applicants will submit a precise CV and EOI (total 4 pages max) demonstrating how you meet the position requirements by 5pm on the 30 of July, 2021. A shortlist of applicants will be invited to attend an interview (the following) week. EOI’s are to be submitted using this form.

CONTRACT DETAILS
The Regional Arts Officer Position is a full-time, fixed term contract until 31 December 2021 with the possibility of extending pending the outcome of future RASN funding. A one-month probationary period applies to the contract. Expected salary for the position is Level 6 LGA ($1,034.50/week or pro rata ) exclusive of 10% super contribution and Workcover. The position also includes an additional contribution to relevant travel and professional development. Laptop and phone will be supplied as part of the position.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE ROLE
The preferred starting date for the position is Monday 9 August 2021. This position will ideally be based within one of the six local Government areas services by SEQ-N RASN, for the most part operating from their own home office. The successful applicant will be required to supervise one other part-time staff member. This position involves some travel within the Redlands, Moreton Bay, Somerset, Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Gympie LGA’s. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate  mobility and flexibility.
