Working Group, Palestine Solidarity Network is looking to play a significant role in refugee students' education. Come to the workshop and meet:
· Zaid Meqdadi, who is finishing his last year in BCom, and who spent this summer teaching middle
schoolers at Rashidieh refugee camp in south Lebanon.
· Nathan Deisman, who is a board member at HumanServe International, which fundraises to support a
tutoring project in Edmonton and a kindergarten program for refugees / children at displaced persons' gatherings in
Lebanon.
· John Doyle, who directs Canadian-Palestinian Education Exchange (CEPAL's) online tutoring program, matching English conversation partners in Canada with refugee university
students abroad.
