Paws for People Animal Assisted Wellness
Use this form to request visits to your facility or site. Visits typically last one hour. Sometimes there will be one team and sometimes more, depending on volunteers' availability. In addition to setting up monthly visits to your site, teams are available to be there for specific events, parties, etc. Visiting teams consist of volunteers and their personal pets. Handlers have received training and been assessed on their ability to to handle their animals in a safe manner, possessing good communitcation skills, using best visiting practices, and understanding of HIPPA conpliance. Animals are up to date on their vaccinations and have been evaluated for temperment, basic obedience skills, and have tested negative for any diseases or parasites that can be transmitted to humans or other animals. Teams are covered undered Butte Humane Society's General Liability Insurance Policy while visiting.
