Glacier: A Climate Change Ballet
Presented by: Dance Loft on14
GLACIER: A Climate Change Ballet. GLACIER is a ballet based on the melting of glaciers due to climate change. Dancers represent glaciers and different forms of ice as they ripple, crack and plunge across the stage all while creating a visceral experience for viewers throughout the various stages on ice melting into water. As the ice continues to melt, a polar bear appears swimming through the waters in search of ice. The show ends with the prologue showing a glimpse into the future from the melting of the glaciers.
