For part of our Real Learning, Tūī team have been focusing on team building and working together, discovering each others interests and strengths. To reinforce this teaching, we will be having an outdoor day here at Murrays Bay School on Wednesday, 11 March. This day will encourage the children to reflect on the school values, to support one another in challenging activities and to demonstrate sportsmanship.
 
The Key Competencies we will be covering are:
•            Thinking
•            Managing Self
•            Participating and Contributing
•            Relating to Others
 
We ask that you provide your child with their normal healthy snack, morning tea and lunch, a drink bottle of water, a sunhat, sports shoes and sunscreen.  The students will be dressed in their sports uniform.
 
To assist us we need parent helpers to supervise a group of students to and from each activity and to assist with some of the activities.
