This scholarship application form is for the Junior Actor Training, Actor Training, Tech for Teens, and Summer Playmakers camps.

Scholarships to the Utah Shakespeare Festival’s education courses are not given based on experience in theater, financial need, or previous attendance in the course. It is our belief that the best students are passionate students. Scholarships will be granted to those who demonstrate a strong passion and drive for the theatre.

These courses are designed to give training to students from a broad spectrum of locations and backgrounds. It is our hope that the training received by course participants will not end with development of their own artistic/dramatic craft, but that students will ‘pay it forward,’ by spreading their passion and skills into their communities and schools.

Scholarship awards vary but do not exceed 50% of the cost. We feel that when a student contributes toward the cost of their education, they will take greater responsibility for their learning.

Scholarship applications must be completed 30 days before your class is scheduled to begin.
