Coffee and Conversation...                                 UnSelfie: Why Empathetic Kids Succeed in Our All-About-Me World
This fall District 35 selected UnSelfie: Why Empathetic Kids Succeed in Our All-About-Me World as the book for the One Book, One District annual professional development initiative for staff members and parents. Author and educational psychologist Michele Borba shares a nine-step plan in her book to help parents and educators cultivate empathy in children.

We invite parents and community members to engage in discussions around the book and Dr. Borba's December 2nd presentation with Family Service of Glencoe, Amy Holaday, and Catherine Wang.

Friday, December 6th, 2019
9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
West School

*Please note, this conversation will be facilitated by Kathy Livingston of Family Service of Glencoe. Dr. Borba will not be in attendance for this discussion.
