The EDUNINE2022 Smart Distributed Conference is a multi-city hybrid conference (virtual and traditional face-to-face), split between the Latin American cities/countries that have hosted previous EDUNINE editions (Santos, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Lima, Peru; Bogotá, Colombia; Guatemala, Guatemala), as well as Madrid, Spain and Guimarães, Portugal, connected via Internet-based video communication applications. Face-to-face sessions are held simultaneously at the conference to allow for face-to-face interaction within the hubs and virtual sessions and social interaction between the hubs. This new way of conducting conferences improves accessibility for all participants and brings conference activities closer to attendees to comply with restrictions on travel and indoor meetings that may still be in place in March 2022.

Authors may choose to present their papers in person at the nearest conference center or online. Presenters (in person and online) will be treated equally. Remember that the REGISTRATION FEE PER CATEGORY IS THE SAME FOR IN-PERSON AND ONLINE REGISTRATIONS.
Each talk will be seen by two audiences (local and online), and only by registered attendees. In addition, each presentation will be recorded, which has the advantage that it can be viewed at any time. On-site presentations are subject to the health and safety recommendations of the venue's local authorities. The health of attendees and organizers is our priority.

In order for an author to present a paper orally and be submitted for publication by IEEE Xplore, he/she must be registered. This registration is for one author and one paper. For each additional paper that an author wishes to present (and that is sent to IEEE Xplore), he/she must pay an additional fee.

Instructions for completing:
1) Enter your first and last name, contact information, and required details in the fields below and select payment options. The form will take you through the relevant sections depending on which options you have chosen in each case. Complete the section and click NEXT to move to the next section.

2) To arrange venues for in-person presentations, please let us know if you plan to attend in person and at which of our venues. One month before the conference, we will ask you to confirm your decision to attend in person once we have more certainty about the evolution of the pandemic and the health and safety conditions at the proposed venues.

3) Authors who are students must provide (upload) a copy of a valid student ID or a letter from the university confirming full-time student status at the time of registration in the EDUNINE Dropbox (link in this Google Form).

4) Registration will not be confirmed until all payment receipts (digitized copies) are uploaded in the EDUNINE Dropbox as required in the sections of this form. The data contained in the receipts will allow for the unique identification of payments made to the conference bank accounts for your dues.

4) In the last section of this form, be sure to click SUBMIT to register the payments in our system. Google Forms will email you a copy of the submission.

Written return requests must be received by the Conference Secretary no later than February 1, 2022. A handling fee of 200 euros will be charged for returns.
