IATSE Local 488 COVID 19 Survey
Hello 488 siblings!  

We know times are especially tough and uncertain right now, so we are doing our best to stay on top of useful resources and will be sharing the information we have found with you in a message in the next couple days via email, Facebook, and Twitter (links to our social media are on our website http://www.iatse488.org).  

The I.A.T.S.E. has donated $2.5 million to the ActorsFund.org and other nationwide non-profits who provide emergency financial assistance and social services for anyone working in the entertainment trades. Another resource you should check into is https://www.211info.org which is a clearinghouse for hundreds of non-profits in our region providing assistance with food, housing & utility bills, childcare, medical bills and more.

The first step to take should you feel you cannot pay your bills is to contact those companies and ask if they have payment plans or if deferment is possible in these extraordinary times. Both Washington and Oregon have legislation in process or in place to prevent evictions, utilities shut offs, & late fees. Please keep an eye out for resource updates in your email, Facebook &/or Twitter

Right now, we really want to hear from you about the impact the COVID-19 outbreak is having on you and your family. The intent of this survey is to gather information from our members and their households' needs.  All survey information and future support and correspondence will be confidential.
