Join QPIRG-McGill’s Board of Directors!

Are you looking for an opportunity to:
• Learn more about and/or support important social and environmental issues in Montreal
• Make QPIRG-McGill a more active and effective organization
• Work within a collective
• Develop skills like problem-solving, supervision, financial management and event planning

The Quebec Public Interest Research Group at McGill is a student-led organization that actively works towards social and environmental justice. Through socially-engaged research, popular education, action, advocacy, and our working groups, QPIRG connects McGill students with the greater Montreal community. Our projects in 2023 will include organizing an event series, planning accessibility upgrades for our new office space, and hiring new staff members. Our board of directors plays a key role in making sure all of this can happen!

We are looking for new Board members (current McGill students or community members) to play a seminal role in creating community ties and equity programming on campus. Non-students or community members can join the QPIRG-McGill Board, but they must have volunteered with the organization in the past year (this includes members of our working groups).
