Movie Screening and Discussion Session | “Gumbo”
Do you know what jazz is? What city did it come from? What year the music was first recorded?

America House is inviting you to watch Gumbo, a documentary produced by Ken Burns about the origins and the evolution of Jazz music within American culture, African American communities, people, and politics of the United States.

The participants will be shown, the documentary ”Gumbo”.  After that they will be invited to a guided discussion, analyzing the historical context, the main facts, and insights from the movie.

The event will be on-site, at our office situated on Mitropolit Bănulescu Bodoni 27 str., mun. Chișinău.
