2024 AVABF Sanctioned Event
Thank you for choosing the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom as a partner for your sanctioned event. We are so excited to have your organization join us in tradition and celebration. Sanctioned events will be included in many of our advertising and promotional opportunities. This annual festival sees a large influx of people from  far and wide. Participation as a sanctioned event allows your organization the opportunity to connect with many new faces and gather with familiar ones as well. 

As a sanctioned event you are entitled to use the AVABF name and trademark logo, host your event during the 6 day festival, receive promotional space in collaboration with the AVABF including placement in a widely circulated schedule of events, our website, social media handles and radio insert of "what events are running" during festival. Your event will appear as a scheduled event with "presented by" or "sponsored by" and your company listed next to the event. This is similar to how we present sponsored events facilitated by the board of directors (sponsored events such as the parades, carnival for kids and fireworks).

All logos, applications and payment must be in by the 30th of April otherwise your event will not be included in our promotional material and you will be unable to advertise under the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival trademarked name. We will email the commemorative 90th anniversary logo to use in your promotional materials, once payment is received. 

Sanctioned events are reviewed on a yearly basis and as such you will need to apply each year to confirm your participation.

Sanctioned Events prices are as follows:

∙ Charity/Non-profit/Community group is $100 

∙ Business/For-Profit $150 (Event attendance under 1000 people) 

∙ Business/For-Profit $500 (Event attendance over 1000 people)

Memorandum of Understanding (Please copy this and include your organizations information where appropriate)

Both the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival (AVABF) and (your organization here)support the promotion of a great family festival. The AVABF Board of Directors macro-manages relationships to raise the AVABF profile and increase the Festival’s popularity by introducing successful events inclusive to the majority.  

The AVABF Board and (your organization here) recognizes that the event is positioned to contribute to the values and missions of the AVABF organization.

The AVABF agrees to include the event in promotional sources along with other sanctioned events. The event will not be confirmed until payment is received by April 30th of the participating year. All payments must be made before this contract is active, which includes advertising and promotion under the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival name.

At the completion of each festival year a review of all events will take place by the board of directors and ensuring future success and participation. Please note when advertising to use the full name of the festival as Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival.

As stated above this memorandum of understanding is signed and active on a yearly basis and must be renewed with each new year.
